I’ve always wanted a centralized “Research Workspace” tailored exactly to how my brain works, but building it from scratch would take time I simply don’t have.

I recently partnered with Lovable to test their major new update, and I decided to challenge their AI with a complex build: a fully functional AI-Powered Research Workspace with user authentication, project dashboards, and task tracking.

Authentication is usually a headache to set up. With Lovable’s new update, adding Google Sign-In was effortless. It handled the secure authentication flow instantly, giving my app a professional login screen right out of the box.
2. Intelligent Task & Project Tracking
The app allows me to create distinct research projects, add specific notes, and track tasks for each. Because Lovable understood the relationship between these data points during the planning phase, the final app feels robust not like a flimsy prototype.
3. Automated Testing
Another huge feature in this update is Lovable’s ability to test and fix itself. It can now run end-to-end tests to ensure features like the “Add Project” button or the login flow actually work. If it finds a bug, it fixes it on the spot.
